What you’re reading Thursday?

I’m changing up my blog, this week’s what’s you’re reading. I just love to book especially a series. I love a good romance, don’t get me wrong I do love a good mystery or suspense, but I’m a true believer in romance.

So this week unique guest Author is CARRIE ANN RYAN – I’m not the type to google or find out where she lives or what she drinks, all I know is that I genuinely enjoy reading her books.  Thank you, Carrie, for writing so many great stories.

Everyone has their favorite Author, in my case, I have many. But most of all I like reading Series, or Family, where Characters come back from book to book.

I’ve just finished reading a Novella by Carrie Ann Ryan – called Inked Nights.

Carrie Ann has written Series of books, but I’m hooked too Montgomery Ink Series. Her first was Ink Inspired, NOW A fan of Ink, (Tattoo’s) I fell in love with this Series. I love the idea of Series and family coming together to help each other even if it’s meddling,  and cousin and the list goes on, anyone that comes or becomes friends with a Montgomery, is now part of that family.

She has many books in her Series, that cross over to others which I love. Her Series starts in New Orleans but then transfers to Denver, and the Montgomery family is a big family. Once you are part of this family, you can never leave.  They adopt you as one of their own. Shep is the 1st Montgomery that will be introduced to you followed by Austin to start off the Series in Denver.

Austin is a prominent bearded tattoo Artist, he’s the oldest in his family, and he takes the role as the big brother very personal.  He and his sister Maya, own the best Tattoo Shop in Denver. But lately, Austin feels like something is missing in his life. But he realizes that he’s pushing 40 soon and feel like he’s missing something in his life. He wanted to settle down after seeing his cousin Shep finally found a woman, he wanted that.  But who would want a scruffy, bearded, full of tattoo’s kind of man? So when Sierra Elder’s walked into Montgomery Ink, she wanted to cover up some scars that were on her body a remember of the past, she wanted them gone. Recently transplanted in Denver, and opening up a new lingerie store, Sierra wanted a new beginning, but what she hadn’t realized is how affected she was by Austin Montgomery.

Delicate Ink is the full novel of Carrie Ann Ryan’s in her Montgomery Series. But there are many books available and one read would have you hooked for the rest of them.  I accidentally downloaded a free novella which was Ink Inspired (Shepard Montgomery) one day, and from there I was hooked. I wanted more, and Carrie gives us more. Once you finish about the Denver family, she will send you to Colorado Springs for the second family of Montgomery.  But I have also heard that there is a new series coming to the Montgomery in Boulder, Co. I cannot wait. I’m so hooked to this family I just want more, and she will give more.

See what I mean – once you start you will be hook I know there is so much more to read, which I haven’t read yet.

But it doesn’t stop there – you can read her Whiskey Series also Collins family – brothers of Tabitha Collins which you will learn in the Montgomery.

You can check her out on her website, she has an excerpt of her book on her Webpage. But who am I to brag about someone I like to read.  The more I read, the more I would like to visit Denver or the state of Colorado.

So all in all, you will just fall in love with this Series, the Montgomery, they are funny, their stories are, and you wish to hold them till everything is better. You will feel like crying or maybe not, but I cry if the story is touching, and Carrie Ann, does make you cry, well I did anyway.

These are just my thoughts of what I’m reading and wanted to share with everyone.

Thanks for reading all hope you will be back next week how knows who I will write about.

Cheers

Brenda

P.S. if you have a favourite Author, let me know I’m always willing to try someone new.
