Today I’m sitting here having my first coffee of the day and only coffee. Yesterday started off a little rough. We were playing golf at 8:42. Rain wasn’t letting up, so by the time we arrived the sky cleared and had an amazing morning.

I’ve been playing golf for a line time, but I only play once a week during the summer. So I never mastered the play as I should be. But I like to play to get out and have fun with friends. I’m not sure what had changed in my swing. I know I can hit if I have good contact. From we started this season, I’m more at ease, and take my time. On a giving game I would average score would be between 106 to 120 for 18 hole round. Where the men on our team of 4 would play about 85-96.

Yesterday was my best ever game. BIRDIE, AND 3 PARS. and if it wouldn’t be for one hole where I totally lost control, I would have been right there with the men. I don’t brag much because I never can beat the men, but I like to try sometimes. Laughing here haha.

So yesterday SATURDAY June 26st, 2021, I FINALLY, broke the 100 my final score was 97. PROUD of myself for having an amazing game. I driving the ball long and straight, my short game was amazing and also did some long and accurate putts. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not always like this. Playing once a week, will not make you better, but you can become more accurate in your shots for me anyway.

I finally realized that all the advice my father gave me is finally coming together. Take your time, go back slow and come back strong. Clear your mind and most of all relax in your swing, for me this is working.

So yeah I’m proud of myself. I won’t brag too much but I almost beat Derek on the 1st 9 holes he was 47 and I was 48. So yeah. kudos to me.

Have a wonderful SUNDAY all, weather today isn’t great here in NS. SO will be doing some writing today and blogging. Cheers

Brenda …. hugs So this saying means all never quit.
